Dana Point, California

Set against the coastal backdrop of Dana Point, this new build was envisioned in a rustic Santa Barbara style, blending timeless architecture with serene, neutral interiors. The design emphasizes natural materials, warm textures, and a soft, sun-washed palette that complements the surrounding landscape.

While the entire interior was thoughtfully designed during my time at Wendi Young Design, the kitchen and outdoor living spaces are especially reflective of the client’s vision. Reclaimed wood beams, hand-finished cabinetry, and artisanal tilework bring an understated elegance to the kitchen, while the outdoor spaces offer a seamless extension of the home’s relaxed, earthy charm.

The result is a tranquil, grounded home that feels both elevated and effortlessly livable—perfectly suited to its coastal setting.
